Dimensions (mm) / Weight
300x105x56 / 4.5kg+ (too large for my normal scale and the larger scale is a bit broken)
Hardness / Fineness: 5- / 5-
This monster sized asagi is a great all-purpose fine finishing stone. It is hard, fine, and relatively easy to use. A no-fuss workhorse. With careful honing it can finish a razor and carpentry tools and is suitable for refined kasumi polishing as well. The extremely generous surface area makes uraoshi on long slicers a breeze.
Aesthetics & Other Notes
The stone is very consistent across its entirety with a grey "dolphin skin" pattern. The stone is sealed and shows remnants of wholesaler stamps on top and bottom sides.
