Description

This gorgeous suita from Shoubudani is an extremely good all-purpose stone. It is fast enough to be a standalone edge finisher and polisher after synthetics. The feedback is a pleasant mix of creamy and chalky. Polishes tend towards a mistier kasumi rather than mirror. Edges off of this stone are ideally balanced for general purpose kitchen work.

This stone exhibits karasu, renge, and namazu. Only one of the lines causes issues during polishing and it has already been dug by the wholesaler. This line is at one end of the stone and is easily avoided also.
